We hire people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technology's greatest challenges and make an impact on millions, if not billions, of users. At Google, engineers not only revolutionize search, they routinely work on massive scalability and storage solutions, large-scale applications and entirely new platforms for developers around the world. From AdWords to Chrome, Android to YouTube, Social to Local, Google engineers are changing the world one technological achievement after another.
The role: Develop Relations Program Manager
As a Regional Program Manager in Developer Relations, you will be responsible for making developers in your region successful in building applications and businesses on Google's developer platforms and APIs. You will personally become the face of Google developer products in your local developer community, speaking and keynoting at developer events, and actively engaging with other key groups such as governments, universities, businesses, venture capitalists, and startup groups.
To achieve your goals, you will work cross-functionally with various Google product teams; Marketing, PR, and other business functions; local volunteers; and external vendors. Additionally, you will manage relationships with, and foster creation of, Google Technology User Groups and other informal groups (e.g. discussion boards, casual meet-ups, and other non-affiliated user groups).
