The Role:

Bloomberg News seeks a reporter for the Milan office to join the European transportation team, covering Fiat group and related Italian transport companies. The successful applicant is expected to produce exclusive breaking-news stories, executive interviews and enterprise pieces about Fiat as well as the European auto market.

The reporter will handle spot news such as mergers and acquisitions, personnel changes, earnings, and collaborate with reporters in the European auto team to break news under real-time deadlines. Knowledge of the auto industry, finance and financial markets, as well as a good network of sources is essential.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is essential
- Journalism experience is essential
- Fluency in Italian is essential
- Experience of working in a real-time news environment in desirable
