JOB DESCRIPTION : Field Marketing Manager (Italy)
A well recognized company in the Solar industry since it was founded has expanded into ingot, wafer, solar cell and module production. This expansion has only been possible because of its focus on quality and its strong support from great customers worldwide.
One of the few PV manufacturers who is building a fully integrated business model from ingots to module manufacturing. This vertically integrated business model makes it possible to assure continuous quality control in every process of the production chain and provide better service to our end customers, apart of being more competitive year after year.
The role of Field Marketing Manager (Italy) is critical to ensuring that the rapid expansion plans and and financial performance expectations of the company are fulfilled. This role is key in defining the growth strategy for a region and leading multifunctional teams through the marketing process while delivering overall customer satisfaction and business results. The role will work closely with global product marketing, market research, product management, sales, product development and the other Regions to drive results and market presence for the business. Key features of this role include:
Main Responsibilities
• Create and integrate system solution offerings and effective go-to-market strategies including product launches to ensure differentiation and growth. Be a proactive force in helping the organization position itself to grow revenue profitably.
• Collaborate with the global product management team, the regional sales team, and other functions to identify requirements for system solution offerings.
• Understand customers’ clinical and economic needs, and then map the values and benefits of the company’s system solution offerings to those needs.
• Instill marketing principles, discipline, and accountability throughout the organization.
• Searching suitable system service suppliers & installers for further distribution;
• Developing regional marketing strategy, value proposition and positioning.
• Communicate the business’ strategy and vision internally and externally.
• Establish and optimize operational marketing processes.
• Assist in driving revenue growth through lead generation and mobilization of the field marketing team.
• Manage a dedicated, results-oriented regional marketing team. Evaluate the team continuously to create a team that is appropriate to the business challenges.
• Facilitate innovative total customer offering development to ensure customer success
• Key contributor to Annual Strategic Plan, ensuring regional/operational plans & executions are aligned with global Field marketing plan (value proposition, positioning, marketing mix, etc.)
Position Requirements
• Experience leading marketing strategy and go-to-market for a global, technology-oriented company. Ideally, he/she will have knowledge of the PV industry.
• At least 2 years experience in the PV – Solar Industy.
• A proven track record of instilling marketing discipline and accountability within a global business.
• Commercialization experience with a focus on building market awareness and go-to-market strategy and execution.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying processes, tools, and metrics to drive marketing accountability, transparency, and results.
• A best practices mentality and ability to incorporate best practices into the marketing organization.
• Business and financial acumen.
• An inclusive leadership style with a focus on personal involvement, trust, and flexibility.
• Leadership skills that will help cultivate a culture of the company Growth Values and integrity.
• High level of integrity and capacity for sound judgement in all situations
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Customer focus and ability to build rapport at all levels internally and externally.
