The Role &lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
The Sourcing Coordinator manages the seasonal placement and follow-through of finished goods for a particular category delivering quality product, on time and at the right price.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
- Advise vendors of seasonal buying/production calendar, unit plans &amp; negotiate minimums as applicable&lt;br /&gt;
- Manage communication with manufacturers on raw material call-offs &amp; receipts, ensuring production needs are met in accordance with calendar and delivery schedule. &lt;br /&gt;
- Raise (and release where applicable) SPO’s in SAP each season (including samples where required). &lt;br /&gt;
- Monitor on-time deliveries from vendors, troubleshooting with team &amp; business partners as necessary. &lt;br /&gt;
- Collate information relating to on-time deliveries etc, in order for the Manager to report departmental performance. &lt;br /&gt;
- Preparation and follow up work as a result of supplier visits. &lt;br /&gt;
- Communicate best working practises, changes to existing practises or key seasonal information, to suppliers. &lt;br /&gt;
- Set up and maintain accuracy of production schedule for all vendors. &lt;br /&gt;
- Manage accuracy of ‘Final Range’ data in SAP. &lt;br /&gt;
- Prepare updates for weekly production meetings. &lt;br /&gt;
- Manage sourcing in collaboration with manager, recommending production strategy &amp; reserving capacity. &lt;br /&gt;
- Work with supervisor &amp; key partners to develop understanding of supply chain process and guide the team in the use of SAP to support this. &lt;br /&gt;
- Work alongside other global sourcing coordinators to ensure standard processes across teams/divisions. &lt;br /&gt;
- Partner with manager on seasonal counter-sourcing needs in relation to vendors, pricing, raw materials, sampling etc. &lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
The Person &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel at an advanced level. &lt;br /&gt;
- Good written and spoken knowledge of Italian. &lt;br /&gt;
- Previous experience in production/manufacturing. &lt;br /&gt;
- Knowledge of SAP is desirable. &lt;br /&gt;
- The ability to work well under pressure and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. &lt;br /&gt;
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task. &lt;br /&gt;
- Ability to develop strong relationships with peers and cross-functional business partners. &lt;br /&gt;
- Leadership qualities and team spirit. &lt;br /&gt;
- Strong costing &amp; negotiation skills. &lt;br /&gt;
- Familiar with &amp; proficient in retail math. &lt;br /&gt;
- Excellent verbal/written communication &amp; time management skills. &lt;br /&gt;
- Willingness to travel/work flexible hours if required. &lt;br /&gt;

-Customer Service: knowing, foreseeing, and satisfying customer´s needs, as well as boosting sales.  Manage refunds, layaways, and alterations. &lt;br /&gt;
-Team Management:  Anticipate your team´s needs, select and develop talent, training and motivating the team, organization and scheduling rotas, management of vacations and days off, management of core staff (resolving conflicts, working environment, etc.)&lt;br /&gt;
-Store Management:  Opening and closing, facility maintenance and shop cleanliness&lt;br /&gt;
-Control stock loss and safety coordination&lt;br /&gt;
-Management of POS: supervision of exchanges, refunds and till incidences&lt;br /&gt;
